'Word from the Wise' is a new Alumni Community Program bringing together a small group of Western Chances Alumni to meet with a “wise” person to share their insights and experience, over an informal lunch.
Western Chances held our first 'Word from the Wise' lunch on Friday May 5, with our inaugural special guest being Western Chances Founder and Chair, Terry Bracks AM.
The group met in the welcoming and light filled environment of Rosa's Canteen in the city with each Alumni having the opportunity to talk about their current endeavors, their goals and aspirations.
Terry Bracks was generous with her time, sharing fascinating insights into her personal journey, the development of Western Chances and her vision for the future.
The conversation flowed and were it not for work and school commitments the conversation could have gone on well into the afternoon!
Feedback from our Alumni has been overwhelmingly positive.
“[This was] Definitely a great experience and would extremely recommend it to other alumni,” said one Alumni.
Based on the success of the first ‘Word from the Wise ‘the Alumni Community Program team are planning several more sessions over the coming months.
If you are a current Western Chances alumni member, look out for our Opportunity Alert emails and take the opportunity to book in to our next ‘Word from the Wise’ session coming soon.
